Gordon Stone and Associates are a niche specialised consultancy operating throughout Australia and SE Asia. The company has been in operation since 1990. The staff are Gordon Stone, Jenny Stone and Jess Samson.

Our expertise is in understanding and managing people – getting people’s (stakeholder’s) ownership of projects, communicating with people, understanding people and engaging people in change management – and ensuring all the people’s needs are met.

We have a series of alliances with other consultants and organisations – to arrange highly effective project management teams. Because we work with these specialists all the time, on a variety of projects, we are able to guarantee the effectiveness of our own work and the team’s work.

Our key alliance is with Jeff, Amy and Ben Coutts (Coutts J&R and POD Media) and Mark Casey (Drawbridge PLS) – forming the management, training, evaluation and rural management consulting organisation Coutts Casey and Stone (CC&S).

We have a second alliance with Gaill Macciocca (Gaill IMH Consulting) and Paul Jenkins (Creative Industries Skills Council) covering professional development and training in the festivals, events, tourism and cultural heritage industries.

We have developed another alliance with the BEARS group of Brisbane, one of Australia’s leading private careers counselling organisations.

A key element of our success is in meeting people’s needs (the clients or the stakeholders) through active engagement in the project. To us and to our alliance members, this is one of the key success factors of our project work.

We have embraced contemporary work practice – and moved from our city based office and 6 staff to a dedicated home office and a series of alliances with key specialised co-workers. We conduct our business in Australasia from a semi rural base that keeps our feet on the ground, our focus on the client’s needs and our costs at industry standards.
